CHINESE CORN AND SAUSAGE TACO
This is my Chinese Corn and Sausage Taco which I started making years ago when I’m trying to fix something simple, quick and savory. The ingredients are simple – corn kernels, taco seasoning, egg, and “lapchiong“. My fridge always have these ingredients, especially fresh Chinese sausage “lapchiong“. It makes everything taste good!! Despite making the dish so many times, it’s just tonight that I realize I made my own Asian Latino fusion dish. This original recipe combines well and is so tasty that it could probably make it China Chilcano menu. Haha! Seriously though, it reminded me of Jose Andres‘ interesting Asian and Latino fusion concept. *wink*
- 2 cups of corn kernel
- Chinese sausage, sliced
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- Add vegetable oil in a medium heated pan. Add sliced Chinese sausage and stir.
- After the Chinese sausage is crispy, add corn kernels and 2 tablespoon taco seasoning. Stir well until cooked.
- Turn off heat and serve with fried egg on top.
- Optional: Add sliced scallions.
This recipe is seriously easy to make.
